The main task for this individual would be to develop an Application Blueprint and Detail Design for BOE Server XI Release 3, Crystal Reports 2008, APOS Archive Manager and Real-time Monitor (Reporting Solution). The Blueprint and Detail Design would be used for the development of interfaces, messaging, alerting and configuration of the Reporting Solution. The following skills would be required for this individual: 1. Experience with BOE Server XI Release 3, Crystal Reports 2008 and a strong understanding how to develop interfaces and API’s for initiating reports via multiple methods. a. An interface or API to support request triggers coming from an external application with parameters to initiate a Crystal Report using data views provided by an application using a DB2 database b. An interface to support request triggers coming from an external application to initiate a Crystal Report utilizing an XML file containing the data for report passed with a trigger file. c. Manually submitted or scheduled Crystal Reports initiated from BOE Server and Crystal Reports for application data within a DB2 database 2. Experience with implementing messaging and alert mechanisms to ensure completion of reports, and archival, along with other processing within the Reporting Solution. 3. Experience developing Blueprints and Development estimates for an overall Reporting Solution based BOE Server, Crystal Reports and APOS products, interfacing to applications and databases, for the various CLIENT’S environments (i.e., Development, QA, Customer Test, Production and Contingency). 4. Experience with configuration for BOE Server, Crystal Reports and APOS Archive Manager and Real-Time Monitor to support the overall Reporting Solution, based on CLIENT’S requirements. 5. Knowledge of Infrastructure (Hosted Windows LPARS), Middleware (Sterling Commerce Connect:Direct, IBM WebSphere MQ) Security (Tivoli Access Manager) and SAN Storage solutions required to support the Reporting Solution requirements. 6. Knowledge of and experience with the Software Development Life Cycle. 7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team. * * *Deliverables:* * * 1. Overall Solution Blueprint for the Reporting Solution, including details regarding interfaces, messaging, storage and other critical design elements** 2. Development estimates and design documents for development of interfaces and other Reporting Solution requirements that cannot be done through normal configuration, based on CLIENT’S Requirements.** 3. Validation of CLIENT’S Configuration Estimates to support the overall reporting solution** 4. Validation of CLIENT’S Infrastructure Detail Design to support the Application Detail Design and Blueprint** 5. Documentation to ensure all the CLIENT’S Business Requirements can be traced to Solution Blueprint and Detail Design for the Reporting Solution.** 6.
