Hands on IT Infrastructure (conceptualize, design, sell to management / customers, acquire, implement and support for all aspects of Infrastructure with the key focus having experience in LAN, WAN, Firewall, Concentrator, Accelerators, load balancers, and Virtualization ex: Firewall / VRF) The position requires significant knowledge in all aspects of Network Infrastructure Shared Services. Ex: Being able to effectively function in chassis that has multi VRF / customers in overlapping shared chassis. Ex: Monitoring tools Ex: Tivoli, HP Openview, Ciscoworks etc Best Practices, vendor management We are primarily a Cisco shop with various supporting appliances. F5, Packetear, Riverbed etc… Require CCNP, preferred CCIE Other industry certifications helpful.
