*Full Description: Basic Qualifications:*
Must have an active Secret clearance with the US government or be able to
obtain a Secret clearance. Must be a US Citizen without dual citizenships.
4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar degree
or equivalent experience.
2 Plus years Cognos - BI (report Studio, Query Studio and Framework Manager)
development experience
*Preferred Qualifications:*
Analytical reporting development experience
Cognos life cycle implementation experience
Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving
environment
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Strong supervisory, coaching and project management skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
*Job Description (as much detail as possible):*
90 day contract to hire position that requires US Citizenship and Secret
clearance.
Will be responsible for development of complex Cognos objects in support of
strategic project initiatives.
Assists with understanding the business processes and how the application
supports the business processes and applies this knowledge to best solve
problems.
Assists with understanding configuration dependencies and interrelationships
between Cognos and other data warehouse/business intelligence tools &
designs, and troubleshoots in the area with this knowledge.
Participates in user requirements gathering and documentation designs.
