Included within those responsibilities are the areas of data access (security) and delivery technologies which includes SQL Server and Oracle. Duties include performance tuning, monitoring, software installs, automation solutions, upgrades, UNIX shell scripting, PERL scripting, physical and logical database design. Some SQL Server and Oracle databases are very large, with a varying size of 500 GB and highly active. Familiarity with ETL Tools like DTS, SSIS, Datapump, SQL Loader, etc is essential. Familiarity with Web Applications with respect to IIS and Reporting servers Hands on experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2003, performance troubleshooting, understanding of SAN storage, Network or higher version.
