Location: Raleigh, NC Duration: 7 Months Job Description: * The main responsibilities of this position include the following: • Perform system analysis and design • Participate in the collection of user requirements via Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and interviews with the clients • Assist in the preparation of the user requirements and detail design document • Prepare program change specifications, programming, and testing. • Assist in managing the project timeline, resources, and lead the technical effort, including assigning and directing the work of other programmers. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:Required: • Minimum of (5) five years of project management experience • Ability to manage technical projects - implemented on time, within budget, and with the expected results, deliverables and identified benefits within the program/project scope • Experience planning and conducting JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions with business and technical subject matter experts and user groups. • Experience collecting user requirements and documenting the design • Minimum of (5) five years of technical mainframe experience performing analysis, designing and development roles for information systems in a batch and online environment • Minimum of (3) three years of experience participating in the documentation of information technology application projects • Minimum of (5) five years of COBOL programming work experience • Minimum of (5) five years of DB2 programming work experience • Minimum of (5) five years of CICS work experience • Minimum of (5) five years of TSO work experience • Minimum of (5) five years of MVS/JCL work experience • Minimum of (3) five years of VSAM work experience • Microsoft Suite experience (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational and presentation skills • Graduation from a four (4) year college or university Preferred: • Experience with Endevor, Xpediter and BMS/GT • PMP Certification Regards, Sreevalli [email protected] <[email protected]> UBT. 8A Certified Certified Woman Owned Certified Minority Owned
