Requirement for *SQA Analyst in WI.*
*Location is Grafton, Wisconsin, *
*Duration is to the end of the year.*
*JOB SUMMARY:*
Support IT goals and objectives by working closely with Project Managers,
Business Analysts, and other Business Stakeholders to review requirements
and use cases and develop and execute test plans, test specifications, and
test cases to ensure application development meets business requirements.
*JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- Work with SQA Lead, Business Analysts and Project Managers to develop
and document test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Develop and execute test scripts using manual testing skills and
automated testing tools; document and summarize results.
- Facilitate the defect tracking and test result summary processes
through regular meetings and reporting.
- Act as a resource to business stakeholders in their test plan and
case development.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and research application/system issues as
required and propose solutions to problems; provide resolution
in a timely
and accurate way, while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop reusable test plan, test specification, and test case
templates and processes as needed.
- Must maintain a thorough understanding of DQ’s business practices
and the applications/systems that support them.
- Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and techniques for use
within IT.
- Recommend standards, procedures and process improvements.
- Mentor less experienced Software Quality Assurance Analysts.
- Maintain Software Quality Assurance Methodology.
- Prepare documentation using tools such as Visio, Word and Excel.
*JOB REQUIREMENTS:*
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral and written communication
skills.
- Excellent analytical skills, as well as accuracy and attention to
details.
- Minimum 3 years work experience as a Software Quality Assurance
Analyst with an emphasis on application testing.
- Demonstrable ability to interact effectively with people at all
levels from multiple areas of the company.
- Understanding of and demonstrated experience with the IT environment
and architecture use at DQ.
- BS or equivalent and 4-6 years experience in computer sciences or
related field, or equivalent combination.
- Experience with automation tools, specifically QTP
- Experience with defect tracking tools, such as MS Team Foundation
