Position: Oracle DBA Production Support - Financials
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 Months
Job Requirement:
a.. The services include setting up infrastructure, provide day-to-day
support to maintain the infrastructure, on-call support, provide extensive help
in performance and tuning of the database instance
Excellent technical skills on the following technologies:
a.. Oracle - 10+ years
b.. Oracle Streams - 5+ years
c.. MS SQL - 5+ years
Proficient in:
a.. Performance analysis tools for databases
b.. Database monitoring
c.. Perl/other programming/scripting language
d.. SAN (EMC) and synchronous replication (SRDF)
e.. Windows and Unix/Linux basic knowledge
f.. SQL on Windows clusters
Desired:
a.. Autosys
b.. NetBackup
c.. Database certifications
d.. NetApp knowledge (Oracle on NFS) The Contractor will be asked to provide
Level 1 and Level 2 support for the Database and Technical Services teams in
GTS.
e.. We will be looking for a contractor with an in-depth knowledge of the
RDBMS: Oracle database server, MSSQL Server and Sybase database server.
