1 Use the image/adjust/posterize command to reduce the picture to about 7-10 levels or so then go to filters/artistic/cutout 2 Applied the Poster Edges filter to a frame and tweaked to the following settrings used the Edge thickness 2 Edge intensity 0 Posterization 2 then opened a bunch of frames and hit Apple F (apply filter with settings again) Apple W (close) Enter (after save prompt). 104 times. 3 To get a rough sketch outline look for your image try this. 1) Filter>Other>High Pass value: 7.3 pixels 2) Filter>Stylize>Find Edges 3) Image>Adjustment>Threshold Threshold Level: 220 (play with it for the desired look.) 4 Starts with a duplicated red or blue channel then apply Filter -->Stylize -->Find Edges. Then apply Filter-->Other-->Maximum (2 pixels). Then apply Filter--> Noise-->Median (2 Pixels). Then Invert the channel. Load the channel as a selection and fill selection (new layer) with black. Duplicate the red or blue channel again and apply Filter--> Stylize--Trace Contour. Invert the channel, load as a selection and fill with black on in the same layer as the Find Edges Layer. You may get a lot of noise after the Find Edges, if you do, use levels or curvers to remove a lot of the white static from your new channel. 5 Filter > Stylize > Trace Contour, and filling some of the contours with the Paint Bucket (for the guy on the left), and Image >Adjust > Threshold (for the guy on the right), with the color applied with some sort of painterly effect.
