Thanks, 'Gbenga. I'd certainly second your nomination. Gaspar Matyas
comes to mind as well - Matyas, have you confirmed your plans for Tunis
yet? Similarly, I would recommend searching for someone representing
Mission 2007 in India. Even though Professor MS Swaminathan isn't
formally a member of our caucus, he's certainly a luminary who can speak
quite eloquently on the role of knowledge centres in development.
I'm also quite happy to speak as well, but I'd prefer to have someone
from the South representing us in the plenary.

Hello all:
I will be in Tunis for the meeting, and I'm not sure if all of us know
about a
Telecentre Leaders Forum @ ICT4all in Kram, hosted by the GKP and
holding from
November 15 - 18. Please see
http://www.globalknowledge.org/gkps_portal/newsmaster.cfm?&menuid=2&action=view&retrieveid=187
for more details...
I would be glad to speak on behalf of the Telecentre Caucus -- so you may
consider this a self nomination.

Thanks for updating us. Unfortunately the list is not very active and
we are not sure who are attending the summit's Telecentre Caucus . Can
you please list out the confirmed delegates & wonder are they on this
list ?
Many members like ours do not have resources to fund the visit but we
find the UN backed forum as our only hope to bring the voice of
Teelcentre movement on a wide platform. I am sure list members can
help set the agenda.

This email was just sent around on the CS plenary list. All caucuses
are invited to recommend speakers for the summit, following the
guidelines below. Since only a minority of telecentres caucus members
are in Geneva right now, it makes the most sense for us to discuss
this online.
Please take a look at the guidelines, then feel free to suggest any
names to the list for public discussion. Please note we must submit
names no later than noon geneva time on Wednesday, so that basically
means we must come up with recommendations by the end of the day on
Tuesday. -andy
