1st Annual Institute on International Digital Government Research
July 8-14 2007
New York City

Doctoral students from around the world who are interested in international
digital government research are invited to apply to participate in a
week-long, intensive residential program focused on ways to advance, study,
and understand digital government research in an international context.

The Institute is organized around the theme of "the city" as a coherent unit
of government that operates within a larger world. It includes both
academic activities and practical field visits. The faculty team comprises
internationally known researchers from a variety of prominent academic
institutions as well as senior government officials from the City of New
York.

The Institute is hosted by the Center for Technology in Government at the
University at Albany/SUNY and supported by the US National Science
Foundation.
