gnome-phone-manager currently has its own UI and backend for sending and
receiving SMS messages.
It would be useful if Telepathy UIs could be used instead (such as Empathy).
The current backend API is at:

The current D-Bus API for gnome-phone-manager is at:

I'm willing to write the D-Bus bits of gnome-phone-manager, given an API, and
if someone handles writing the telepathy plugin :)
