Haha, my ticket included the same (?) 2 issues (radio name gets reset after
reboot, and TR-069 issues; specifically, TR-069 creq port is passed through
instead of intercepted when DMZ enabled). Also, yes, iperf needs some work.

Our first CPE8K install resulted in one of the best observed SINRs on the
network. We did a double-take when we saw it. RF performance really does seem
to be notably improved. Unfortuantely, we don't get CINR (though both should
be pretty close to each other), and we only see the 2 chains SINRs combined
into one value, which isn't optimal.

Subject: Re: [Telrad] CPE8000 impressions?

We have 13 of the CPE8000's deployed.
Working great!
Have a ticket in also for some TR-069 issues, and the Radio name not surviving
a reboot.

I do know that one of my installers that has been using at CPE7000 with only a
13-14CINR now get a 19-20SINR and says its MUCH better!
At first I thought he was not doing a good job aligning the CPE7000, but this
is not the first case of better CINR. In my testing I saw around a 2 CINR
better (radio/hand out the truck method of testing), but now that we have
swapped out a few CPE7000's the numbers a much better then 2 CINR.

iPerf testing need to be fixed (ticket in for that). I believe there is a new
Firmware version that fixes many of these issues that about ready to come out.

We have a couple deployed, I am looking forward to future software revisions. I

We don't have enough deployed to tell performance yet.

Of those that have gotten some and have tried them out, what are your
impressions so far?

I just opened a ticket outlining some firmware problems we have run into
(mostly management related stuff), but other than that my impression at this
point is pretty darn positive. RF performance seems to be on point so far, and
I'm really digging the web interface on this thing: it is so much more
"lightweight", more responsive, and less visually busy.

How have others faired?
