In my quest for TT to become more and more like Perl6, I kinda agree with Larry here. TT currently comes with a lot of plugins which makes testing and installation tricky and long. How about we have a "just TT" base module and then "base TT" set of modules which contain simple things (not GD stuff, for example) and then a series of "yet another TT plugin" packages.
What do you reckon? ;-) ----- Forwarded message from Tim Bunce <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----- From: Tim Bunce <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: The case for SDKs [SNIP...] One I particularly liked was to the effect that perl6 should come with almost no modules so you _have_ to install something like an SDK. (That way installing extra stuff becomes standard practice for people like ISPs thus lowering the resistance to it.) ----- End forwarded message ----- Leon -- Leon Brocard.............................http://www.astray.com/ Iterative Software...........http://www.iterative-software.com/ ...
