AFAIK only the template files itself, and none of the templates it
PROCESSes/INCLUDEs/PREPROCESSes/WRAPPERs are checked for their
modification times.  

If I modify my preprocessed etc. files I use a "conventional" Makefile
and the make command to touch the templates to be processed before
running ttree.
