I'm using Template::Alloy for a new website. One minor annoyance that
I'd like to fix, I see a lot of such messages in error.log:
Useless localization of match position at
/usr/local/share/perl/5.10.0/Template/Alloy/TT.pm line 54.
Anyone else seeing this?
I'm on a pretty much up-to-date Debian box (perl 5.10, apache/mod_perl
2) and T/A is installed from CPAN.
Thanks,
-M.

We have a Catalyst application that we've recently switched from
Text::Tmpl to TT and we seem to be experiencing a significant memory

Text::Tmpl. Now with TT, the processes continue to grow, and after about
2.5 hours, they hit 750mb and lock up the server. Less than optimal.
I'm not sure if you could try Template::Alloy easily - it is mostly a drop in
replacement depending upon how Catalyst lets you plug in your template
engines. It would be interesting to see the the problem is the same - in
which case there could be something common happening - if not it lies in TT's
caching mechanism.
Just an idea.
