Monday Movie Speakeasy call for entries
Sadie's Flying Elephant is seeking indie films/videos to show as part of our our new weekly film night. We don't charge a cover, so we can only offer to to get you drunk and watch your movie on a seven-foot screen with your friends and enemies. We're already screening major feature films and would like to add locals to the roster because we (heart) our neighbors. We're just looking for a few good local films to support. Please read the following carefully:
� Shorts preferred, but any length may be submitted. � Any medium okay but must be submitted in VHS format only (DVD is acceptable IF you can provide a DVD player the night of the screening) � Any subject matter is acceptable but keep in mind that we're looking primarily for funny, entertaining, thought-provoking or just plain wierd stuff. Politics are okay, too, but might take a back seat to humor (hey, if you can do both, word). � All submissions must include the following: Your FULL name (printed legibly) Your address, phone number, email address (if you have one), and the length of your film. Optional: a blurb about you and/or your piece � Submissions should be sent to: Jessie Jane, c/o Sadie's, 491 Potrero Ave, San Francisco CA 94103. � Screenings are Monday nights - we'd like you to be present for your screening, which means you MUST be 21+ with ID.
This is an ongoing series, so there is no deadline. We will contact you either way to let you know if we will screen your piece. IF YOU WANT YOUR MOVIE BACK you MUST include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
