Mark, I didn't realize you were on Mac. Those commands are for Windows.
On Mac there may be a service script in init.d. I'm not entirely sure how sophisticated those scripts were on v5.5 The command would be something like: service witango restart There is a PDF on our site in the legacy downloads area (www.witango.com/donwloads/5.5) called the Installation Guide for Witango Application Server 5.5 for Mac OS X. This document discusses the startup scripts provided. Note that Apple has changed things over time, so the version of OS X may play a part.
