MC, Robert is correct that he made many enhancements and fixes to the Web Call action.
The Web Call is easy to use. Put the URL in the "URL" field under the "Request" tab. I assume you want a "POST" If so, the easiest way to include you XML is to set a var to the XML and then place a reference to the var in the "Data" field of the "Post Data" tab. <@var request$xml> Your results return in the vars specified in the "Request" tab. You probably also want to "Wait For Results" Steve Fogelson -----Original Message----- From: MC Tay [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2013 11:35 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: TeraScript-Talk: Send XML to specific URL Robert, Thanks!. But how do I include the XML schema into the <@URL>? Such as <?xml version='1.0'?> <whatever> <subtag> ..... </subtag> </whatever> MC At 09:24 AM 10/9/2013, you wrote: >MC, > >The tag you want is @URL > >Note that in v5.5 this tag has quite a few flaws and short comings. >In v6 I have worked to improve the tag and implemented a new action >(called Web Call) which is superior. > >Robert > >-----Original Message----- >From: MC Tay [mailto:[email protected]] >Sent: Wednesday, October 09, 2013 12:08 PM >To: [email protected] >Subject: TeraScript-Talk: Send XML to specific URL > >HI, > >Does anyone know how to send or parse an XML formatted schema to a >specific URL in Witango or TeraScript? > >For example, I have an XML formatted schema > ><?xml version='1.0'?> ><whatever> > ..... ></whatever> > >and need to send it to http://www.somewhere.com/xmlreceiver/ > >Is there a meta tag I can use? > >Thanks! > >MC > > > > > >---------------------------------------- > >To unsubscribe from this list, please send an email to >[email protected] with "unsubscribe terascript-talk" in the body. > > > > >---------------------------------------- > >To unsubscribe from this list, please send an email to >[email protected] with "unsubscribe terascript-talk" in the body. ---------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, please send an email to [email protected] with "unsubscribe terascript-talk" in the body. ---------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, please send an email to [email protected] with "unsubscribe terascript-talk" in the body.
