I got it to work, by NOT using the assign action, and by using the example that is in the Manual.
<@ASSIGN NAME=fred SCOPE=cookie VALUE="You were here." EXPIRES="<@TOGMT TS=<@SECSTOTS SECS='<@CALC EXPR="<@ TSTOSECS TS=<@CURRENTTIMESTAMP>>+604800">'>FORMAT="datetime: http">"> Why the assign action doesn't work, I can't say. I am not purging anything. I double checked that, by opening the taf in BBedit and searching for Purge. The assignment always had a value I think, because when I ran debug the values always showed up. The one question I have about using the example above is the EXPIRES attribute. Can i do this and geg a year on the expires parameter? <@ASSIGN NAME=fred SCOPE=cookie VALUE="You were here." EXPIRES="<@TOGMT TS=<@SECSTOTS SECS='<@CALC EXPR="<@ TSTOSECS TS=<@CURRENTTIMESTAMP>>+1314000">'>FORMAT="datetime: http">"> Thanks for the continuing support.
