Thanks Robert.

We started having a problem 2 ½ weeks ago where when selecting a URL within the
admin part of our sites. Some laptops fire off two identical URLs when
selecting a URL. One processes fine, the other throws an email error to me
indicating the other URL did not have admin permissions. (because there was a
different userreference assigned to it). Most of the time it executes on a
separate service so it is hard to find it.

While the site is not too busy, I was going to reduce the number of TeraScript
services from seven to one so it would be easier to find both URL (taf)
occurrences in the log file.

Thanks for the clarity on client.ini. Guess I need to be more patient.

Anyone else run across this problem or two URLs being executed?

Thanks

Steve

Clients.ini is read by the WISP module in the IIS or Apache server.

It is verified to be the latest file on each new incoming request, which is to
say that changes take effect immediately.

That said, some aspects of the server affinity functionality, which is driven
by codes in the cookie, may override the configuration. Said another way, the
configuration may only apply fully when it's handling the first request of a
new session.

Does anyone know if I make changes to the client.ini file in the TeraScript
configuration folder if it takes effect immediately without re-starting services

I don’t know if the file is cached.

I made a change (removed a service) and the file saved it (closed and re-opened
to verify), but there is still activity on that service.

Thanks
