  Actually, I think it does make sense to make these comparisons.
Solaris does have CPU power management, you just may not have or
enabled it yet.  If it is there and enabled, we know there is some work
to do.  If it isn't there or not enabled, we will get an idea of how
much we gain by having it.

  So the next piece is to get/enable it for Solaris and see what the
results are.
