Hallo everybody, i have a little problem using tesseract 2.03 on Windows Xp. It all works fine with the providing test pictures of the tesseract engine. But if i try to process an image of my own it fails with the following error: Microsoft Visual C++ Debug Library : Debug Assertion Failed! Program:..... File: isctype.c Line: 56 Expression: (unsigned)(c + 1) <= 256 I converted the pictures to an black-white tif file, 300dpi with no compression....as it is written in the FAQ.
