I ran more tests today and figured out, that the image loaded with tesseract is skewed in respect of the image loaded with FreeImage. I tested it with several pictures now, and sometimes it does skew and sometimes it does not. the amount of the skew is also not constant: sometimes it is hardly readable and sometimes it is easily readable as an italic kinda text.
Now it is clear why the results are so bad with some images, but I still don't know why the buffer of FreeImage and tesseract are so unequal sometimes. I tried loading and saving the image with FreeImage, but this does not corrupt the image. Only loading the image with tesseract and then saving the buffer with FreeImage got me to notice the skew. I appreciate any help with this problem, but I do not know if there are any FreeImage users in this forum... --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "tesseract-ocr" group.
