There seems to be a problem with the data in the FreeImage buffer. It
somehow introduces a byte or some more sometimes which result in a
skewed image in the end. Somehow FreeImage is able to recreate the
correct image when saving, but when I use the raw data with tesseract
there is this skew. Since this is not a tesseract related problem
anymore, I guess my chances pretty low to get some help from you, but
maybe somebody experienced something similar. Just let me know.
