The problem is that some people complain that there is too little documentation, while others don't read what little there is.I have removed the windows libtiff section from the README wiki, as there was no help for linux there, and put a pointer to the FAQ <http://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/wiki/FAQ>wiki, where it clearly states that you need libtiff-dev.
