sorry for too many posts today, but I run into different issues as and when I try new things to fix them!
so now my NDK_PROJECT_PATH is a user variable and holds the value of the folder that contains the jni folder (C:\tesseractAndroidTools \tesseract-android-tools\tesseract-android-tools) and I am running "ndk-build" command in C:\tesseractAndroidTools, and I get the following error - $ ndk-build awk: /cygdrive/c/ndkandroid/build/awk/extract-platform.awk:29: fatal: cannot ope n file `C:tesseractAndroidToolstesseract-android-toolstesseract- android-tools/de fault.properties' for reading (No such file or directory) awk: /cygdrive/c/ndkandroid/build/awk/extract-debuggable.awk:55: fatal: cannot o pen file `C:tesseractAndroidToolstesseract-android-toolstesseract- android-tools/ AndroidManifest.xml' for reading (No such file or directory) /cygdrive/c/ndkandroid/build/core/setup-toolchain.mk:20: *** Android NDK: Asser tion failure: TARGET_PLATFORM is not defined . Stop. Please help me in getting over it? I tried looking for a solution myself and came across this link - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7290594/android-ndk-assertion-failure-target-platform-is-not-defined but it asks me to change the Application.mk makefile, and I am not sure if I should be doing that.
