Ok so when I try to do the steps provided in the README (http:// code.google.com/p/tesseract-android-tools/source/browse/trunk/ tesseract-android-tools/README) along with the modifications mentioned on (http:// rmtheis.wordpress.com/2011/08/06/using-tesseract-tools-for-android-to- create-a-basic-ocr-app/)
on the step when we run "ndk-build" I get the following error - Dev@Dev-PC /cygdrive/c/tesseractAndroidTools $ ndk-build Android NDK: Could not find application project directory ! Android NDK: Please define the NDK_PROJECT_PATH variable to point to it. /cygdrive/c/ndkandroid/build/core/build-local.mk:85: *** Android NDK: Aborting . Stop. I added an environment variable "NDK_PROJECT_PATH" with a value same as my NDK android directory, but I still get the same error. How do I overcome it?
