Thanks Sven and Nick.

I have installed packages: build-essential, pkg-config, magickwand-dev. I
downloaded the lazytrain files into a directory called lazytrain.

I downloaded the libutf files one by one (I didn't find an archive of any
sort) into a subdirectory called lazytrain/libutf. I do not have a file
called libutf.c Where does that come from? Did you mean utf.c? The
lazytrain.c file in is a different directory to the libutf files, so I
don't see how the command

cc `pkg-config --cflags --libs MagickWand` libutf.c lazytrain.c -o lazytrain

would work.

Regards

Donaldo
