Thanks, Zdenko Neither of the two versions of the cc command you mentioned worked. They gave the same output as before.
I am not a C programmer. I had not used a C compiler for years. I mentioned the line #include <wand/MagickWand.h> only because I can't see where it is to get the rest of the path to that file from. I installed the C compiler stuff just a few days ago in order to work on tesseract. Maybe there is something else that you and Nick have installed that I have not.
