Intriguing...

Can you send the output of `pkg-config --libs --cflags MagickWand`
please? What GNU Linux distribution (and version) are you using? If
it's Debian derived, can you send me the output of the command
`dpkg -L libmagickwand-dev` please?

Zdenko was correct in thinking that adding the extra -L and -I lines
should have fixed things. Well, the pkg-config part *should* have
done all that, but evidently something there isn't working
correctly.

I'm planning to release a tarball of the tools, plus libutf and a
Makefile, today, and would really like it if we could figure out
your problem (as no doubt would you!)
