Hello everyone, I have just installed tesseract 3.01 on windows . After completion I was reading the Readme.txt file , where it says:
1) 'Leptonica is required. (www.leptonica.com). Tesseract no longer compiles without Leptonica. ' -- So I assume I have to download leptonica and compile it? 2) 'As of 3.01, Tesseract is fully unicode (UTF-8) enabled, and can recognize 39 languages "out of the box." ' - So is training needed?
