Hi, Judith I tried using the Esperanto option with the Tesseract package distributed in Ubuntu 12.04 but it did not recognise any of the accented Esperanto letters. I have done some training on Esperanto texts and contributed an improved epo.traineddata file for Esperanto. It is included in the recently distributed version 3.02.02. Look for the file tesseract-ocr-3.02.epo.tar.gz on the page: https://code.google.com/p/tesseract-ocr/downloads/list
