Ah, OK, I see what went wrong. boxer is hardcoded to use the
DejaVu-Sans-Book font to draw the characters, which probably doesn't
have kannada characters. I just modified it so you can set the font
to use, so the usage is now:

  usage: boxer in.png in.box fontname out.png

Download it from the same address I gave in the previous email.

So if you get a font that has all the characters you need, you can
run the program like this:

> E:\nick-trainingtools>boxer b.tunga.ab.png b.tunga.ab.box E:\my-font.ttf 
> out.png
