Hi Nick, It seems to me that there is very little support for the FreeOCR to run with Tesseract OCR. I have spent quite a bit of time looking around the net but to no avail. Thank you for your comments though. It is reassuring to know that the is 'someone there'. I will just have to look a bit furher. Good old MS. Their error messages are So unhelpful. I am gradually goung over to Linux (Debian and Centos)
