Oh, I see, I vaguely remembered some UNLV functions, but had forgotten them. They just output Latin-1, with a couple of "special" characters that the UNLV test tools want, by the look of it. I didn't realise the test tools used those characters that way, to be honest. Regardless, it isn't a generally useful output format, so it probably doesn't make sense to expose it in your API, unless you're using the UNLV tests yourself.
