Hello all, I am new to OCR and just found this OCR community. So if I ask something that might sound dumb and silly, please forgive me. We all have a starting point in life.
I have a personal project that I have been planning for a while now. I reached to a point of the project where I need an OCR software to help me accelerate my idea. I have HD images of ancient Greek and Hebrew manuscripts. I need to convert them to text. The thing is the hand writing is different between scribes and the shade of the ink varies depending on the age of the manuscripts. What is the best free software available to do the job? and also, I need the program to allow me to "teach" it new ways of writings. Where do I start? Again, the OCR is purely for Greek and Hebrew languages. Thank you in advanced, G, -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "tesseract-ocr" group.
