Robert,

There is an initramfs for the 6.20 kernel but NONE for the 7.0 kernel.

I'll look in the "latest" kernel build log for files affected with the various 
install commands. There might be a record as to just which /boot/efi parts are 
affected.

As usual, I'll report back here with my findings.

do you have an initramfs in /boot for these installs?
