Hi, to get everything compiled I had to do the following changes: 1) remove texk/xdvik/depend.mk This file contained absolute paths to the X11 stuff.
2) remove the lines #ifndef MAKING_HEADER #include "krheader.h" #endif from texk/xdvik/xdvi.c I do not know whether these changes are correct but at least all programs have been compiled. I got the following warning from texconfig init: install_link failed for /usr/local/dtp/bin/i686-pc-linux-gnu/mptopdf. File already exists. mptopdf is a perl script. I have renamed it as mptopdf.pl but I think that we don't need both, the link and the script.
