Hmm! As already mentioned I wrote this mail to clarify the capabilities
of PMX. The next version of "NoteEdit" will allow as many voices
as you want. And it exports into 4 different output formats, among them
PMX.

What I wanted to say: The PMX output will be restricted to 2 voices.
Of course, I could insert a lot of MuxiXTeX inline code. But
"NoteEdit" also exports MuxiXTeX (without voice restrictions).

The PMX output makes only sense if it is better readable/changeable
than MusiXTeX. (This was the statement of those users how requested
PMX generation.) So if the user wishes more than 2 voices per
staff (lines of music) I'd recommand to use the MuxiXTeX
exportation. It isn't better or worse readable than any inline 
MusiXTeX in PMX.
