I've made some initial - and rather promising - experiments with
integrating Stanislaf's postscript slurs into an M-Tx source. Therefore
I encourage all of you to have a closer look at the facilities Stanislaf
offers for MusiXTeX typesetting. Unix users may install the new macro
and the postscript prologue connected to it using the methods outlined
in my recently published HOWTO, see
http://icking-music-archive.sunsite.dk/software/musixtex/musixtex-for-unix.html.
Similar methods will probably apply for win9x MiKTeX as well.

You'll have to perform a single correction on Stanislafs macro source
musixps.tex. In line 639 replace

\catcode`\@=\atcode

by

\catcode`\@=\catcodeat
