Unfortunately, this is no solution because the spaces are already
elements (hidden rests) in NoteEdit.

very useful feature. But here the user would see some additional space.
And I'm afraid a series of load --> save --> load --> save ...
would enlarge this space again and again ..

Thank you! But I'm afraid I have to use somthing non-MUP-conforming.
Why should I fully support non-free MUP ?

(If I think about MusiXTeX it is simply a \changeclefs. And MusiXTeX
costs nothing ...)
