Whoops! This is true only if dvipdfm is used.
... or pdftex (I worked with pdftex for the PDF output)

Using dvips and embedding the
Fritzsche xslz20.pfb, I'm getting two dots instead of a tie, even in the
Postscript.
Thats true :-(
I looked after it, and it seems to be a problem with the font-names.
My gsview says in the message window:

Can't find (or can't open) font file /Resource/Font/TeXXSLZ20-Regular.
Can't find (or can't open) font file TeXXSLZ20-Regular.
Substituting font Courier for TeXXSLZ20-Regular.
Loading NimbusMonL-Regu font from C:\Programme\gs\fonts/n022003l.pfb... 1998672 680346 2441416 1092963 0 done.

In the configuration file for the musixps fonts it says:

xslz20 TeXXSLZ20-Regular <xslz20.pfb

and in the header of the _original_ xslz20.pfb I find commands like

/FullName (TeXXSLZ20-Regular) readonly def
/FamilyName (TeXXSLZ20) readonly def

In my version there are other names :-(

/FullName (xslz20) readonly def
/FamilyName (xslz20) readonly def

From this I'm just wondering that it worked with pdftex...

It seems to be time to boot to linux again and see what I can do
to correct the names...
I hope this is all that need to be changed.
But this will have to wait until I got some sleep ;-)

Bye,
David Fritzsche
