After some communications with the lilypond group, I've taken their updated source, merged it, and marked up the two. Minor additions needed, but its available at www.dpawson.co.uk/smrf/gloss.html
bad link:-( http://www.dpawson.co.uk/smrf/ works!
Its now configurable to either include or exclude the lilypond source as well as the png image.
Is there a history between this group and lilypond?
As far as I know Lilypond in an early stage was sort of offspin off musixtex in that respect that Lilypond used parts of musixtex including the musixtex fonts for the final graphic representation of its music information. Inbetween they've cut that connection and built up their 'graphic engine' I believe to remember a TeX-Music posting from years ago where Han-Wen Nienhuys or Jan Nieuwenhuizen announced their final departure from the 'musixtex track'. However, they're both still subscribing to TeX-Music along with a few other Lilypondists. My own Lilypond experience is limited to the glossary and a few tiny scores dating years ago.
certainly sounds like it.
