Clever idea. Unfortunately, the image is only marginally legible on my
laptop, unless of course I save it (somehow) and then process it with a graphics program.
Why don't the spammers all just go away and leave us alone?
A new package, switcheml, was recently added to ctan which solves this problem in LaTeX (and thus in LaTeX generated .pdf).
I - blushingly - have to admit that I maintain the table of addresses with Open Office swriter rather than with LaTeX. For now I have installed a new release with enlarged page width and font size. Would laptop users please test the legibility of the table once again?
