No, it's NOT possible. The PMX manual says explicitely that the
only additions allowed to an xtuplet note (after the first one)
are an accidental or a relative octave (+ or -). Anything else
does produce an error, as you have seen.

There might be some clever way to do it with inline TeX (although
it surely will be complicated, because of the beaming etc.); but
why would you want to do that ?? Musically it doesn't make much
sense, does it?

Again, the answer to that is also: NO, and the reasons are related
to your first question: the algorithm for setting up the beaming
with xtuplets is complicated enough as it is. And again, it may be
possible to do it with inline TeX (although I can't easily imagine
how ...)

The only reasons why you would want to do either of these things
are to better fit the layout to the length of lyrics text. But I
have no experience with M-Tx, and thus cannot offer any advice on
that.
