Dear all.

Some time ago I received a report on problems with installing PMX- and M-Tx software from the Macintosh OSX package distributions I've prepared. Today I've investigated the problem further and have realized that there *are* problems these packages.

Furthermore, after having looked up and consulted information on OSX packages I suspect that my package distributions may even imply security holes. Therefore I've immediately removed the links to these distributions from the Icking Archive software index and replaced them with links to zip files from which Mac OSX users must install the software 'manually'.

I'm unable to figure out how to prepare OSX packages that are both formally correct and secure. If any of you can help me with detailed and precise instructions incl. file- and directory ownership and permissions in the various section of a package structure I'll consider trying to remake these packages.

Regards
