It does. But that sound doesn't exist in native English words (except in a few dialects, like that of Scotland), so English speakers often replace it with a /k/ sound. Many of us therefore pronounce the word "Bach" itself as if it were an Italian name instead of a German one. :) -- Mark J. Reed <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
