Even though I work mostly on linux, I also have a Windows XP machine. I use THE, the Hessling editor on both operating systems. It has the above listed features and has a powerful macro language, REXX, which is also available free. The macros help enormously in easing typing. The editor is an XEdit clone, but more powerful.
