I've just contributed a transcription for harpsichord of Muffat's wonderful violin sonata in D. IMHO this came out very well for harpsichord: the melodies in the adagios are sublime, some of the harmonies are completely out of this world, and the scales and arpeggios in the allegros lie very comfortably under the fingers. So if you play harpsichord (or even piano) I urge you to try it out, and if you know any harpsichordists maybe you could pass this on.
