Hi Luigi, Hi Simon,
At first:
Many many thanks for your help, and sorry that I've molested you with a
problem which solution is so simple!!!
But for my apology I have to say that I also had the idea using a lyrics
style, and therefore I'd tried "Style: DUET". But neither putting the
lyrics below the first voice nor below the second one results in
displaying the text. So I thought that wasn't the root cause.
And if I compare my attempts with the example on page 7 one of the lyric
lines is written and shown below the system / last vocal part. So I
assume I have a fundamental understanding problem in how typesetting
lyrics work. Is it possible to give me a short background explanation,
or is it better to read the "MusiXTeX" manual in detail regarding this
concept?
I recommend reading the 'Preamble commands' section of the M-Tx manual
(section 1.5, page 7ff). The important thing to understand is that one
of the style elements 'choral' or 'vocal' must be present in the style
definition or else lyrics in the m-tx file will be ignored. You'll
typically select 'choral' for choral scores because it adds a staff
grouping bracket around the choir staves.
Anyway, with your help I have a new starting point for learning and
testing, again many thanks!
And sorry that I've bothered you with such a simple question!
